A teapot that feels familiar and endearing thanks to its soft rounded shape while remaining stylish. This is the matte-finish type.
Its stainless-steel surface is blasted to create a non-reflective matte finish, and the lid opens to approximately 180 degrees.
The handle stays cool to the touch, the lid is easy to open and close, and the spout pours cleanly — functionality was a priority in its design. Made entirely of stainless steel, it can be used over an open flame.
The pot includes a filter inside, so you can add larger tea leaves directly.
Also, by using the tea strainer (sold separately), you can strain well even when there is only a small amount of tea leaves and hot water.
The welding that makes the body and spout appear seamless is technically very difficult, and each piece is finished by skilled craftsmen — a rarity today.
The 1-person and 2-person pots brew tea nicely even when a tea bag is placed in them as-is.
