The percolator is appealing for its simplicity—just set the coffee and place it over direct heat—and for how well it pairs with a campfire.
It extracts coffee by heating water and circulating it through an internal tube.
Made from 18-8 stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, it’s ideal for outdoor use.
[Brewing Instructions]
1. Put the appropriate amount of coffee grounds for the number of people into the basket.
2. Fill the pot with water to just below the basket and place it over the heat.
3. When the water boils, remove from heat and set the basket containing the coffee in place.
4. Return to low heat for about 4 minutes; when the brew visible in the lid’s transparent section reaches your desired strength, it’s ready.
[What “Matte Finish” Means]
A matte finish achieved by blasting that preserves the natural stainless surface without shine.
This emphasizes the simple form characteristic of Koinu-jirushi products.
